Where would you prefer to live – a care home or a care hotel?

At THE industry exhibition, we positioned Shackletons as creative designers of attractive, durable furniture, which turn a care home into a care hotel.

Following the motor industry’s lead, concept furniture was produced and featured in the setting.

As a result, 133 good enquiries were produced, in comparison to 20-30 of previous years.

Following on from the show, we focused on building a relationship with the leading industry publication and introduced a Makeover Competition.

The competition resulted in tens of thousands of pounds worth of free editorial space alone.

This was launched in tandem with other initiatives, including a design award competition – aligning Shackletons with cutting edge design for ‘care hotels’.
